Welcome! My name is April and it is my passion to help women and their partners on their journies to parenthood. Childbirth and its process is an incredible, intimate, life-changing experience and I would be honored to share in as your Doula. I am here to provide compassionate support – emotionally, physically, and informationally - before, during, and after labor.

The moment of conception you began this journey. For nine months you create, grow, bond, and anticipate the coming adventure of giving birth. Along the way are moments of wonder and joy and moments of uncertainty as you imagine and create your birthing experience. I am here to encourage and gently guide you as you make the best and most informative decisions for your family.

I am committed to supporting women and their partners embrace this journey with willingness and excitement, while encouraging you to face every decision along the way with a sense of knowing and readiness.

Doula is a Greek word whose definition has come to mean a woman who helps other women. The word has further evolved to mean a woman experienced in childbirth who provides continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to the mother before, during, and after childbirth
